![]() Our international graduate students are doing some incredible research on campus. Meet Sandhiya Thiagarajan. Sandhiya is a PhD student in chemical and biological engineering at UA. She shared with us her research and her best practices of research. She says: Why do you have to be smart if the materials around you are smart? I work on smart materials that exhibit magnetic properties for applications like brakes, dampers, and prosthetics. In the world of research, your area of research is the religion and your advisor is the god. One person next to your parents, who always thinks only the best for you is your advisor. At every point trust your advisor and their decisions for you. In this way, you can always reach great heights without falling apart. #GradStudentResearch Posted by UA International Student and Scholar Services on Tuesday, April 13, 2021
